July 20, 1969 was the first moon landing in history, what better anniversary to host astrophysicist Amedeo Balbi on the Aragonese Castle.

The Olive Terrace, a unique location in the world, was the setting for Amedeo Balbi's lecture, " On Another Planet."

The speaker Balbi explained how despite the best intentions to colonize other planets, these are quite infeasible, and for this reason launching the reflection that rather than looking for other planets it would be appropriate to save our own.

Amedeo Balbi is associate professor of astronomy and astrophysics at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata." The author of more than one hundred scientific publications, he has contributed to, among other things, the first precision measurements of cosmological parameters and the determination of the geometry of the universe.
